Roll Form Operator3rd shift - 9pm - 5am (includes a paid lunch)Starting pay is $22.50/hr + $1 shift differentialAll candidates must agree to a drug test and background checkIce Industries Bowling Green participates in E-Verify to confirm employment eligibilityThis position will set up and operate the roll-forming equipment to produce parts within acceptable quality criteria and make all necessary adjustments to run lines at predetermined speeds.Operate a roll-forming line, machine, and any secondary equipment needed to produce a defect-free product.Assure product quality by adjusting the machine to material and finished product requirements. Use inspection gauges to identify workpiece defects or machine malfunction. Report machine and product quality issues to supervisors.Conduct minor troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, including coolant changes, cleaning the machine, adding or switching lubricants, and checking the coil on materials about to go through.Complete production records on finished goods, properly documenting and logging all scrap.Operate manufacturing machinery when needed, such as a hoist to place metal coils on and off an unwinder. May use a hand truck, fork truck, and overhead crane to move material.Ensure all materials are in the correct location, verify each material's label for accuracy, and help stack products after they are processed.Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned, including projects or assignments to support the plant.The Roll Form Operator is a safety-sensitive position working directly with machinery and equipment—frequent exposure to a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment where ambient air temperature can occasionally exceed outside air temperature.Must be able to bend at the waist and knees, walk, and stand for extended periods.Must lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary.Must be able to bend, stoop and crawl on the production floor to access equipment as needed.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.Must be flexible and able to change schedule and hours of work to meet the needs of the organization.Required Education, Experience & Skills:Experience in an industrial environment is highly desired.High School diploma or equivalent is required.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide inches and pounds using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Must be forklift certified or willing to become forklift certified.Ability to work with and communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.Ability to self-motivate, problem-solve, and work in a dynamic environment.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Attention to detail where accuracy, consistency, and exact results are critical.Ability to identify patterns, recurring issues, and escalation trends through ongoing monitoring and analysis of operational activities.Demonstrate a strong commitment to process adherence, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.Ability to read, comprehend, and follow safety rules, work instructions, and procedure manuals
