Picker/Packer
Location: Altamont, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
We are seeking reliable and motivated Picker/Packers to join a busy craft beverage warehouse in Altamont, NY. This position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, organizing, and preparing craft beer and other beverage products for shipment.
ResponsibilitiesAccurately pick cases of craft beer and other beverage products according to customer orders.
Pack and prepare orders for shipment or delivery.
Verify product type, quantity, and order accuracy before staging.
Build and stage pallets for shipment.
Load, unload, move, and organize beverage products throughout the warehouse.
Assist with receiving and stocking incoming beverage shipments.
Rotate and organize inventory according to warehouse procedures.
Inspect products for damage and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
Meet daily picking, packing, and productivity expectations.
Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Previous warehouse, order picking, or packing experience preferred.
Ability to safely lift, carry, and move cases of product.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to perform various warehouse duties as needed.
